A traditional Fish Smokehouse since 1960
Fish Shop Eljas Santa was founded in Merikarvia, Krookka, in the late 1950s. Today, the fish shop operates in almost the exact location. The original smokehouse and fish processing plant are just around the corner.We are open all year round, even on weekends. Our principle is to sell as long as we have some fish to sell.
Local fish from local fishermen
We buy whitefish, perch, and pike-perch from the local fishermen. Baltic Herring also arrives on site. Wild salmon is a welcome catch, as the fishing season is short and strictly regulated by law. The third generation of the Fish Shop Eljas Santa, welcomes you to come shopping alone, as a couple, or even with your work group.
LOCALITY
We buy most of the fish for sale directly from local fishermen. Even the farmed rainbow trout does not come from the end of the world but from nearby producers along the sea coast.
DELICACY
The secret of the processed fish is its taste. Secret recipes guarantee a mouth-watering taste, and the domestic gray alder creates smoke aromas.
RESPONSIBILITY
We sell the fish we catch throughout the year. We live in the rhythm of nature and get the fish for sale near us.
